A long-term residential program offering high-challenge and supportive trauma-informed services to single-mother-led families exiting homelessness.
Mary’s Home is a safe haven for women and children escaping cycles of poverty, abuse and homelessness in Colorado Springs. We offer transformational education and coaching for single mothers seeking to build a stable life and career.
Each family lives in fully furnished apartments surrounded by supporters and friends, with a structured weekly schedule. Children attend childcare or school during the day while mothers gain skills to start an employment track. Families can expect safe and comfortable living, meeting rooms and computer access, an outdoor playground and garden, donated vehicles, and 24-hour safety and support.
Mary’s Home supports single-mother families experiencing crisis who are committed to a life-changing healing and growth process. Women must be homeless or imminently homeless with children, live in El Paso County, and be eligible for TANF, CCAP, and SNAP for a minimum of eighteen months.
Mary’s Home is a long-term, multi-year program. Families stay as residents for 1 to 5 years, following our program to gain the physical, mental, and financial health needed to meet the Colorado Self-Sufficiency Standard.
