A doctor in Canada is facing unprofessional conduct charges because he advised a pregnant women not to get an abortion.
As mentioned in an article at LifeNews, the doctor is a Christian.
But, a Saskatchewan policy in place since 2015 states: “Physicians must not promote their own moral or religious beliefs when interacting with a patient.”
Colorado’s Reproductive Health Care Act says the following in 25-6-405(2): “Nothing in this Part 4 may be construed to authorize a public entity to burden an individual’s fundamental rights relating to reproductive health care.”
Could it be that doctors in Colorado face the same problem that they face in Saskatchewan?
