A couple of years ago Pueblo tried to initiate an ordinance to keep abortion out of the city.
They didn’t succeed. But they didn’t give up.
Members of the Pueblo City Council have recently tried again to make Pueblo a sanctuary city for the unborn. Some of the backstory can be gleaned in articles written by the pro-abortion-biased press both before the council vote (here and here) and after the vote (here).
The council ended up rejecting the ordinance by a thin 3-4 vote, the same margin as two years ago.
What would the vote look like if such an ordinance were to come before the city council for Colorado Springs?
