2026 Fall Billboard Campaign: 23 Years in the Making

This fall, Pikes Peak Citizens for Life is going all out with 25 billboard locations across the region, part of a campaign 23 years in the making to build momentum for three Protect Kids Colorado ballot propositions.

If you look at the current political environment in Colorado, we are split 60% pro-abortion and 40% Pro-Life among voters. The legislature is even more skewed: 65% pro-abortion and 35% Pro-Life. The executive branch is solidly pro-abortion. Notably, no piece of Pro-Life/anti-abortion legislation has passed in the last 23 years. Amendment 79, which enshrined abortion into our Colorado Constitution, passed by a 62% to 38% margin – even with heavy opposition.

Clearly, until we see a significant shift in our cultural and political makeup, we have little chance of passing any anti-abortion legislation.

Therein lies the beauty of the three Protect Kids Colorado ballot propositions: keep boys out of girls’ sports, raise the age of sex change from 12 to 18, and prosecute sex traffickers with life in prison. All very much needed corrections to the insanity coming from our politicians.

The chances of getting these bills passed through our legislature are near zero, which is why PKC brought these initiatives directly to the voters. The response was spectacular, easily garnering the required 125,000 signatures per initiative to be placed on the November ballot.

Another subtle, but important aspect of these propositions is that they are Pro-Life without being anti-abortion — in other words, a bit of an end-around against the pro-choice/pro-abortion coalition.

That’s why PPCFL is going all out with 25 billboard locations this fall to energize voters to pass these bills, building momentum to move Colorado to Pro-Life.
